Drama & Singing

Providing a platform to unleash your performance skills

Our classes build confidence, children learn to speak clearly and to be confident in themselves. We believe developing these skills is so important, whether your child wants to perform professionally one day or work in other areas, communicational skills are vital to success. In our drama classes we cover posture, grounding, improvisational skill, voice work, acting for screen, character building, text work, breathing, all key for development.

Our pupils will also have the opportunity to enter into drama festivals.

Our classes cover choral singing and harmony work, both in musical theatre and pop helping pupils to work as an ensemble, as well as building up to singing solo lines within a group. We cover all necessary techniques, posture, support, breathing and physical release, this is a great way to build confidence, becoming more expressive whilst having lots of fun!

We also offer private singing lessons, as work one to one allows children the opportunity to develop vocally, build self confidence and use their voice freely.

My daughter started doing drama with Sam at 7yrs old. She was very shy and didn’t like performing or speaking in public. She is now a super confident 8 year old and about to sit her first LAMDA exam. She has enjoyed Samantha’s classes enormously. It has given her confidence and this has impacted on all areas of her life. Sam’s classes are all about confidence, growing ability to focus individually and to work as a group.
